From my research, lots of places just cook in an aluminium pan then serve in a dish. Not a Balti. It needs the caramelisation around the steel pan which you can scrape off with a roti.

Haven't read the article yet, but it's a fantastic pub and I'm a big fan of Mws Pws beers. And their ice cream.
Still hope to get down to the Balti Triangle at some point, but it's quite a long train journey so I tend to end up at Indian Brewery for convenience (and because it's good).

I've just seen an advert for "A truly personal IVF experience." I can't think of many things more inherently personal than having a fertilised egg inserted up the vagina and attached to the uterus. Like advertising "bespoke hairdressing." Yes, it is.

I was in Brum last weekend. Unless you get a bus down to the Triangle (25-30mins) it's pretty much impossible to find a Balti in the city centre.
