I also found this photo powerful. Taken in 1909, it shows the attendees of 35th reunion of Yale College’s class of 1874. (It's mislabeled on Yale's site.) Bouchet is in the second row, third from left. Just puts in perspective what it must have been like to be a Black man in these lily white spaces.
