NEW: Asia is going electric💡
Asia has 4% of the world's oil+gas supplies. It's perhaps no surprise Asia is doubling down on electrification.
Not just China, all of Asia.

I was working on coal phase-out in 2016.
It's hard to express how impossible it would have sounded for solar in the US to generate more than coal by 2026 over a whole month.
(Even if that month is only May, which typically has more solar gen and less coal gen)
So cool😎
Nevermind about China's EVs, look at its ICE sales😮
May -39% y-o-y
Just 560,000 sold, compared to 2,660,000 peak almost ten years ago in Dec-2016.

Never rule out electric planes for in the future!
Wh/Kg energy density:
- LFP: 150-200
- NMC: 200-300
- Solid state: 400-700
- Lithium-air lab: 1200
- Lithium-air theoretical limit: 12000
- Jet fuel: 12000

How Asia is leading the electric age, powering its rise and reshaping the global order.
I have resigned from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol's Independent Standards Board.
The Protocol is openly violating its own rules and has effectively delegated forest carbon accounting standards to a secret, industry-led working group.

25 is the new 23 which was the new 20 - two years ago in Munich Aiko put out the first 25% efficiency solar panel I’ve ever seen. Now, I walked the floor and I see them everywhere. There’s still plenty of lower efficiency modules – but the floor is now 23%!
The shift has occurred.
