This reminds me of years ago when I was a travel magazine factchecker I checked an article about a garden owned by a British duchess and referred to her repeatedly in emails as a "dutchess" and had to be gently corrected by the duchess's flack (thankfully all before publication)

a very mildly embarrassing story: one job and two Pew typologies ago, I accidentally wrote an article that referred to the report as a "typography," and that mistake remains in the URL to this day
