Most people do not have a clue in hell how anything works. Unfortunately, that often includes the folks who budget the money to make things work.
Constituent advocacy matters. If you don't explain cause & effect to your elected officials, they may never learn it.
When a leader, by fiat, prevents people from voting, it's not a democracy.
