Farewell to the artist David Hockney, who has passed away at the age of 88. From the sun-drenched swimming pools of California to his vibrant landscapes of Yorkshire, his work radiated a joyful embrace of colour, curiosity, and a deep love of the everyday.

Absolute icon. When I went to study design and photography as a 20 year old I basically wanted to be Hockney when I grew up. Living in East Yorkshire I desperately hoped I’d happen upon him painting by the roadside. Rest well.
What are the Government, police and security services doing about the people who are quite clearly in the pay of a hostile foreign state, and using their platforms to whip up actual pogroms on our streets? This is a major national security issue and absolutely nothing seems to be happening about it
