This is so cool!
Watched JERRY AND MARGE GO LARGE. A math and lottery story that's only peripherally about money. A simple, but very real delight. With Bryan Cranston, Annette Benning, and Larry Wilmore, if you need more convicing.
Harlan Coben is a master at crafting suspenseful thrillers, and he doesn’t hold back in Run Away. I loved the way he unfolds the narrative, layering family drama with dark secrets, crime, and moral complexity. The pacing is excellent—I was constantly anticipating the next revelation.

5⭐️ KIN by Tayari Jones. 2026. Literary/historical. Two motherless friends who met as babies grow up together but then go on two separate paths: one for a life of ease and the other for hardship. The paths converge into a reckoning. Excellent read. Highly recommend. 💙📚

My review of WHISTLER by Ann Patchett is on IG/SG. Daphne runs into her stepfather at the Met. She last saw him 44 years ago when she was 9. They’re thrilled to rekindle a relationship even when Daphne finds out why her mother divorced Eddie abruptly. It’s a book about dying & acceptance. Lovely.

Just occurred to me that the way for guys to dress comfortably hasn't changed one iota since at least 1984. (Except for the gun.) That's basically me today.

The celebrated Chicago jazz club’s longtime owner, Dave Jemilo, has sold it to Jason Cole and Jill Skintges, both Green Mill employees who say they plan to keep running it the same way he did.
