A refreshing look at how you can use LLMs as a writing tool without "sounding like AI" -- and also learn nitpicky English grammar nuances in the process. @vincent.bernat.ch, I think your original voice (first draft) is totally clear though!
Some findings: - 40% of “always-LLM” writers never wrote before, 20% rarely wrote before - 72% of those who generated LLM drafts performed substantial editing, 23% totally rewrote the drafts - Only 13% felt LLMs captured their voice, only 11% felt LLMs captured their ideas
- 73% did not disclose that they used LLMs to write
It seems LLMs are helping many previous non-writers share... something...which I like. But it's just sooo painful to read. writethatblog.substack.com/p/report-llm...
