I serialized my space opera novella The Nome King and the Shroud earlier this year, and now I offer you a complete ebook version!
My agent sent me feedback on my romance novel (she likes it, yay) and her suggestions are 1) insightful and 2) totally doable
My writing time today is clearing up loose ends so I can dive into revisions on Monday. I am really excited. I love these characters and hope you get to meet them someday
This week I wrote a short story, settled on the contents of my next collection (gotta write a banger original before I send it around), critiqued another writer's novel chapters, and finally edited and uploaded my short novel Smoldering to B&N and Amazon (it's up at the latter)
Not so bad I guess
Briar Rose! Sisters Emily’s Lightship! And her own amazing writing aside, I never would have found my beloved reference book A Dictionary of Angels if she hadn’t mentioned it in an author note
Smoldering was originally serialized at my Patreon, and it's a standalone that also serves as a meaningful sequel to Briarpatch, and has small appearances by characters from the Marla Mason series. As part of my grand unified theory of all my stuff. I cried at the end when I did my proofing pass
oh great can't wait to get misgendered by a got-dang robot toilet
toilet seat all lifting in silent rebuke of my femininity
I did another little free-to-read review roundup at my Patreon, about books by Antonia Hodgson, Claire Oshetsky, George Saunders, Charlotte Stein, Caitlin Rozakis, Martha Wells, Yasutaka Tsutsui, Jadzia Axelrod, Charles Portis, George Saunders, and Iain M. Banks
