🧪 What’s the most absurd biology fact you know? I worked on a needle structure in bacteria that injects toxins to kill nearby microbes. BUT it derives from a modified virus which was co-opted in the past. The genes for this virus are now in the bacterial DNA, pretty weird? Image credit👇 #science
