Honestly I think the worse answer is cis people can fathom it fine. Everyone can imagine what it would be like to be mutilated in disfiguring and permanent ways. They just don't want to. They don't think we deserve to be treated as human in that way.

I suffered, being made to go through the wrong puberty. I don't want the people out there who are the kid I was, to suffer. *Making* them wait until 19 and have their bodies change into something they don't recognize, before they access HRT, is monstrous torture that you cis people cannot fathom.
