I'm very happy to share my first article as a corresponding author published in @natmethods.nature.com !! 😍 Some groups (like us) have developed complex 3DTFM methods in the last 15 years. BUT its usage in studies that help better understand disease or development has been almost non-existent.

Stoked to announce that I received a poster award! 🔥😍 Many thanks to the #25EngLife organizers for the amazing meeting!
How do cells navigate up gradients of adhesive proteins? 🤔 Termed "Haptotaxis", this effect is ubiquitous in cell migration, but it's mechanism was poorly understood We show that passive friction directs cells & explains complex trajectories on gradients 👉 www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Haptotaxis was traditionally seen as migration up protein gradients. It is now shown that cells can also oscillate or migrate down the gradient.

My postdoc work with @pcusachs.bsky.social is finally out! We find that fibrillar adhesions play an important role regulating the timescales of nuclear mechanotransduction. You can read all about it here : www.nature.com/articles/s41563-026-02590-x Huge thanks to everyone involved!!
