Unless a fawn is looking for its mother and in distress for long periods of time, injured & bleeding, or laying flat out obviously sick, it is best not to interfere with nature.
Good way to remember:
βIf ears are straight, fawn is great
If ears are curled, fawns is alone in this worldβ
One of the signs of dehydration is curled ear tips, but always consult a wildlife rehabilitator before you touch a fawn.
