I’ll pipe down about #Eurosky shortly, but this is the first time in ages I’ve been excited about software that does something I want: federated #SocialMedia where you own data *and can take it with you*. Props to the teams at @bsky.app, @eurosky.social and others for making this a reality! 🙌

The move to @eurosky.social went quite smoothly. It took several hours to migrate all my data (I have a lot of posts!) and I had to run pdsmoover.com to locate some missing blobs, but otherwise everything worked as expected. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their data to reside in Europe! 🇪🇺
