This week, I’m posting about Plantago. I usually see it as a weed, tenaciously hanging on in compacted soil. As always, there’s much more to the genus than that. 📷: P. lanceolata, a weed with an almost worldwide distribution, is 1 of nearly 250 species in the genus. #Plantaginaceae #Botany 🌾🧪🌱
