Sitting back up, she turned to glance diwn at his sleep riddled bitonal gaze with a hand resting to the top of ~
βSleep ainβt exactly a good thing in my book, remember? I slept long enough- and Iβm awake now anyway.β
He shrugged. Sheβs got him there, yeah β but heβd rather avoid sleep as much as humanly possible.
βNahβ¦ debatinβ on patrol. Iβm sore, dunno if I wanna put up with it tonight.β
"Wake you up?" She lifted a brow at the idea before holding her hand out flat, waving the other to send the cards shuffling back into the flat of her palm. "When you rarely sleep as it is? Pft... Sure." She scoffed lazily.
"I don't know... Close to midnight, I think. Somewhere to be?"
βYou couldβve just moved βem off, or- I dunno, woke me up?β He blinked slowly. When the burning persisted, he rubbed at his eyes.
