Happy Local News Day! I feel so grateful that I have the chance to report on and for my community in Colorado - as well as support local journalists in the state through my work at @theconversation.com.
Local news is crucial to building the connective fibers of society.
Subscribe or donate to your favorite local publication today. This work is important but isn't free.

Hundreds of Colorado Democratic elected officials, volunteers and voters have asked the state party to formally censure Gov. Jared Polis over his decision to commute Tina Peters’ prison term.
