I do have a theory that governing 340m people with a system designed when there were like 45 (European) people in America is turning out to be a little silly
I do understand it being hard to square these stories and the videos from nyc of strangers *spontaneously breaking into song together* with the things anyone with a little money or power here seems to want to do. I can't understand it either
