This is what I call a #duh study (over 75% of eligible patients had medicare and had to be referred to yet another pharmacy/clinic to receive) but hopefully this can serve as a call to arms or evidence so we can get lawmakers to change the ridiculous vaccine coverage rules #AGirlCanDream
Third activity for #ScienceSymposium! Cans = infected patient. Bean bags = antimicrobials. Can only use antimicrobials which are susceptible per the micro report. Oh no! Some are on shortage 😬 Can you cure your patient?!?

Pleased to share our article is published (in the pretty format) re: RSV vaccination in an ambulatory clinic. Led by our amazing PGY2 AmbCare resident Amy Liu during a 2 week period bc ... she was just too damned good at her rotation and we needed to fill the time somehow 😂

@mmpharmd.bsky.social: RSV vaccine access is complicated by insurance coverage. Here, >75% of eligible older adults were covered by Medicare Part D, which restricts admin to retail pharmacies. This ⬆️ care coordination and highlights needed expanded vax coverage.
