Anyone who reads would tell you this is always the case but the book is almost certainly better here, from the snippets I've seen Jordan's prose is professional and the overall story isn't bad. I actually think the finale sequence of S01 where Rand chooses good is genuinely inspiring.

Amazon's attempts at fantasy shows feel entirely reliant on effects, even when they have ostensibly good actors involved.
I can't buy the magic in Wheel of Time because the physical performances are all over the place, I swear the director told them "just…like…shake a lot" for the S01 finale.
