I take this one back, finally got around to seeing the final season and I think they understood what they weren't quite hitting before. Jesus "passing the torch" to a new US-centric "Christianity" based around ultraviolence is pretty inspired

On one hand yeah but on the other hand I don't even know if I'd even call The Boys a satire of *fascism* as much as superheroes. What did they think was going to happen here? Homelander becomes the good guy? Corporations come out on top? What the fuck show were they watching?
