always kinda curious what people's default world is for their furry characters especially sona, I think I bounce between the two common ones 1. world is mostly a facsimile to ours, no particular concern for answering questions relates to "furgonomics" and anthro characters are just human parallels
trying to get back in the groove w/ drawing lately (comms still in the works I promise) have a Mauve art I want to print as a sticker sometime

There's obviously a gradient here too tho, furgonomic clothing but all of the artists still somehow exist in your world and made all of the things you like so your guy wearing tail-fit clothing and only eats enriched plant protein meat substitutes still knows what [your fave album, movie, game] are

In this case, it's just rearranged for humanoid critters. For me, this includes stuff like... they still cook on stovetops but things like fully sustainable fishing and meat substitutes to meet protein demand existed earlier in this "alternate history"
in this instance, characters tend to live in the real world, like the real foods and media you like, etc. there's nothing weird about your bird guy liking chicken sandwiches. 2. world explicitly answers all of these "inconsistencies" but might still borrow things like Earth.
