I think a big takeaway from The Genetic Lottery (a fab book that genuinely changed my view on a few things) is that almost every educational study would be better with some polygenic scoring, and so few do.

Absolutely incredible effort for Sam to write this and never once mention genes. As long as education and income are correlated, and as long as people mate assortively on educational attainment, this gap cannot ever be closed. open.substack.com/pub/samf/p/t...
