Meta lore: they're a pair of OC's Blur and I adopted from others at different points and thought they'd be cute together! I've actaully had Ruri about as long as I've had Anya (their ref sheets were even made at the exact same time).
Anya just became the "main" OC, so she gets more spotlight.
