My neighbor and I have been chatting about the many issues facing 311. It has been incredibly frustrating as a 311 power user. Our goal with the app isn't to necessarily replace the existing app but to show OUC a better solution is possible. (2/4)

We currently pay >$500k per year to Accenture to maintain our app, and they are failing to do so. My neighbor built this in less than a day. We met with Pinto's office yesterday, and he decided to get to work from 3 - 10 pm to get this out :) (3/4)
I haven't been thrilled with the DC BOE election results website, so I made my own! My favorite part is the ability to see results by slate (rather than trying to remember who is part of which slate on the BOE website).
Exciting news! A neighbor created a 311 app for DC that actually submits requests to 311. It is only for iOS right now and in very early testing. We are ideally looking for people with some tech background. Link to follow and DM me your iCloud email if interested! (1/4)
