Pulse needed up being the catalyst for me finding the courage to come out as trans. I realized how short life could be, but how much power there was in reclaiming your true identity, separate from the one you were assigned.
I don't have a single regret about it.
I didn't have the courage to go to the actual site until 2019. Went by myself.

More than 500 babies and toddlers have been detained by ICE since Trump’s return to office.
On an average day, about 25 children under the age of 3 are being held in immigration custody.
These are babies.
