Also please can we drop the go anywhere do anything in any order sandbox design? It has its strengths and was cool at first but it cuts the depth of these games narratively and game design wise. Don’t want the first 20 hours to be stellar just to followed by 50 more that are not so fun.
I’m still cautiously optimistic tbh we haven’t seen much so it’s too early to judge but I REALLY hope the art direction is solid and not just animated Dreamworks Zelda. Wouldn’t be the worst thing but these games have design languages that always hit and feel uniquely Zelda.
