#OTD in 1965, Sister Mary Kenneth Keller became the first woman in the US to earn a PhD in #computerscience.
Keller, a Catholic nun, believed tech should be used to expand accessibility in education. Founded the #CS dept at Clarke University & chaired it for 20 years.
