Tigers are calling up No. 22 prospect Trei Cruz, per sources. The switch-hitting INF/OF will become a third-generation Major Leaguer, joining grandfather Jose Cruz and dad Jose Cruz Jr. He gets the call in wake of Wenceel Pérez eye injury in Houston.
