As this year's Le Mans 24hr race approaches, it's a chance to remember some of the great cars that have graced The Circuit de La Sarthe. One of the most iconic has to be the stunning Porsche 917 which took victory in 1970 & 1971.

On Le Mans hyperpole day, I've just received my Porsche 917LM #slotcar, a model of the car that took pole position at Le Mans in 1969. Le Mans Miniatures have done a great job. The detail and finish are superb. A lovely addition to my collection 😍
