Even though he's not a novelist, I would choose Tony Gilroy. That man is a storytelling genius.
Maybe I'm delusional, but I really feel like post-apocalyptic dystopian romances might be the next trend to follow #romantasy ???

Novelists: what is your favorite part of your story?
Mine is after the midpoint, where we really get to feel the threat of the baddies. The character arcs are established, the set-up is complete — now we get the payoff of the stakes that have been built. The plot then races forward deliciously.
