The great Chicago film critic Jonathan Rosenbaum is looking for some help with his website:
What was the last true-blue family film that came out in recent memory? I'm talking something like ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD or KINDERGARTEN COP. That brand of film that was live-action, funny, and written for all ages.
Where did those movies go? When was the last one?

Congrats on #300!
Oh, you know already. Gets points for best use of an original Disney song in a park ride.
Just saw the final trailer for the live-action Moana and I'm really hoping they give co-directing credits to John Musker
and Ron Clements because I have no clue what Thomas Kail is supposed to have done here except color between their lines. There have been second unit AD's with more obvious impact.
So we have the first real clue how Austin film festivals will pivot while the Paramount Theatre is undergoing a massive 11-month restoration: @austinfilmfest.bsky.social is heading to the UT Campus and the equally historic and comparably-sized Hogg Auditorium. www.austinchronicle.com/screens/aust...
