It's disgraceful then, to be told that Adrian isn't intending to sign the EDM, and that more generally, seems to be silent on defending trans people. His contempt is noted, especially in the context of the pledges he gave us in 2025 when he ran for leader alongside Ellie.
We quite rightly welcome the signing of the EDM by Siân, Hannah and Ellie. Fighting for trans rights is what Greens should be doing. It's a long-standing party policy that trans women are women, trans men are men and non-binary people are non-binary.
I know it seems a little parochial and quaint, but I have this old-fashioned view that if somebody disagrees on policy, especially one such as this, it's reasonable to expect that they fully articulate their rationale for doing so.
The vacuum around his intransigence is a problem in itself.
Maybe all our politicians should stop shrieking about how defenseless the UK is?

Adrian has already proven he cannot be trusted or relied on. It's beyond time for his constituency party to find another candidate for the next general election. They have that power. I suggest they use it.
