Facing an uncertain offseason, the Jets are better placed than most to pick up a few tips from the Stanley Cup champions.
The Winnipeg Jets have announced a closed media event / press conference at the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM.
The obvious, speculative interpretation is that Toews himself will be making an announcement about his playing career.
Winnipeg will play four preseason games next season, starting in Edmonton on September 19.
The Jets will have two home preseason games — one against Colorado and one against Edmonton ⤵️
I wonder if Toronto's discussion of Knies, just to pull up and say probably no there's not a deal... Is just their GM's way of extracting potentially available names.
Maybe someone pays big and it become worth doing. If it's just talk, then information has value.
