Emerging from the shadows from a nights rest, this Gold Dust Day Gecko was pretty hesitant. Eventually it worked its way out into a lighted portion of the South Maui banana tree, as if just enough to say hello and allow for a morning photo.

A study in miniature. I snagged a TON of different perspectives on this tiny, translucent mushroom tucked into the moss. I love how these grow from amongst the moss overnight, from the pleated gills to the delicate cap. 🌲🔎🍄 🍄🟫

This Rufous was hunkered down on a chilly morning s the 🍁 came to life. At the time of posting this, the leaves are already so thick I can’t even see if they are resting on the branches anymore. 🪶

Life finds a way in the quietest corners. Tucked away on a moss-covered log, these tiny bonnet 🍄 catch the soft light of the forest floor. There’s an entire miniature world right beneath our feet, undisturbed, just waiting for us to slow down and notice it.
