The "Theory Paper Format" is a template for writing psychological theory papers, developed by the Taskforce Theoretical Psychology (Lorentz Workshop, 2025). Use it to structure your theoretical paper, or (for editors) consider creating journal space for theory papers doi.org/10.17605/OSF...
…reproducibility problems are widespread. Only one in three authors (35%) share code, and even when code is available, only every second main result (51%) is numerically reproducible.
"There are signs that the Bayes Factor is increasingly taking on a role analogous to that of the p-value, serving as a device for the automation of decisions rather than as a tool for substantive inference."

Sadly, I think the CRediT taxonomy is being misused. Anyone can just make stuff up about paper contributions. Here we have an article where 5 authors were credited with "visualisation" in a paper with no figures. pubpeer.com/publications...
The University of Melbourne has opened a formal investigation into the prominent Australia-based education researcher John Hattie, backtracking on a decision months ago that concerns about his work didn’t warrant further scrutiny.

I refuse to use the term "AI era". It conveys a level of persistence which is unwarranted for an innovation that may very well never become sustainable or economical.
Instead I propose the term "AI crisis", given that it's something that wreaks havoc and that nobody has asked for.
