I suspect thats why the right is all obsessed with UFC these days, there are too many talented black players in football and even baseball with the Dominicans and Japanese

yeah the fact that Obama likes and is pretty good at basketball read as "too black"
when they say "sports" they mean Football and maybe baseball, which while they have lots of black players remain white coded vs basketball (black coded) and Soccer (foreign/Hispanic coded)
