My Thinking Through Printing keynote began with this provocation—as an interface for interacting with large language models, the chat box relies on a flawed skeuomorphism that misleads users, obscuring rather than revealing the relationship between users’ inputs & the language model systems’ outputs
I should (blog? zine?) re:arts residency opportunities, as an area I wasn't aware of a year ago, just assumed wasn't a category of thing I could apply for. Am thinking there might be other DHy/maker/craft folks interested? or encouraged to not just go "I'm not an artist/what they're looking for"?
