I moderate an indexer listserv and recently got a non-member post request that was word-for-word the old "we hacked your computer and caught you watching nasty porn" scam. I denied the request, obviously, but it was nostalgic to see.
As I see more friends fall victim to this discord hack, I remind people that if someone asks you to download their new game out of the blue, right now, because it will only take a couple minutes, after "catching up" for a minute
It's a hack, and they will take over once you download that file.
