National security is only possible by repairing our relationships with longtime allies abroad and boosting economic security in this country. It starts with strengthening our education system so that all American children have equitable access to opportunities.
Seeing our tax dollars wasted on senseless wars or hyper-inflated defense contracts instead of funding to feed our children while bombing schools in Iran is bullshit.
Every policy decision, especially ones our admin makes overseas, affects us here at home. I served in the Navy for 21 years as an F/A-18 pilot—I know the literal and fiscal cost of war first hand.
