The failure to meet Sunday’s deadline is a betrayal of working women. Governments must deliver equal pay instead of folding to aggressive corporate lobbying.

It would be unacceptable to all workers in all sectors and regions if workers' protections and social conditionalities were reduced in the CAP!

Women workers across EU will continue to be left in the dark over pay discrimination as all but 3 EU member states missed deadline to put Pay Transparency directive into national law – despite being given a year longer to deliver.
IF Metall and the trade union movement are standing up for Swedish collective agreements, for decent working conditions, and for every worker’s right to security and respect.
It is time for Tesla to come to the negotiating table.
Women workers need a ban on the pay secrecy clauses which have allowed unequal pay to persist almost 50 years after the EU enshrined equal pay in law.

Speaking at the the International Labour Conference in Geneva today, ETUC General Secretary @estherlynch.bsky.social outlined the measures governments must take to make AI deliver for workers.

Member states are dragging their feet: nearly half of them have still not even published a draft national law, and about a quarter have drafts but aren’t on track to complete the process until next year.
