To do this, we focus on Switzerland and analyze 28 years (1995-2023) of post-election survey data from SELECTS (@forsresearch.bsky.social).
Here, we use a unique set of questions where non-voters have repeatedly been asked why they decided to abstain from the polls.

The annual survey by the Military Academy and the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich has tracked Swiss public opinion on foreign, security and defence policy.
