22 northwestern pond turtles reared at the Oregon Zoo have something to shell-ebrate this week.
North American porcupines like Nettle are herbivores that can consume up to a pound of plants per day! This time of year they eat green leaves, fresh foliage, nuts and fruits, but in the winter they eat bark, twigs and pine needles. Quillity snacking!
