I painted this 24”x24” Newport scene around this time last year, however after a couple of days I decided to keep it. I’ve been observing it on my studio wall ever since, thinking about how I could amp it up a bit;I settled on several glazes, a cool horizon, and reorienting the buoys to be parallel.
