Oh yeah, most definitely. I was actually talking to someone about this scene on Discord, and they pointed out that Izzy wasn't really rude to Stede until this scene, where he very blatantly disrespected him. Up until this point, his behavior had bordered on flirting.

I don't think Izzy's being an angry asshole in this scene. Izzy's reaction demonstrates Izzy's a big deal. Izzy wanted to send the boys. Even inviting Stede to speak with Blackbeard is beneath Izzy, and now this pirating newb is disrespecting him. Between the two of them Stede is showing his ass
