Anyway I know twitter/bsky aren't great for longer form content but just figured I'd log my "con report" here for posterity. Hope everyone who attended had a great time, despite the couple of snafus. I'd say overall it was definitely worth it!

Also I'd hoped to get a "Viva Piñata" theme going for my rex - kinda surprised nobody really ran with that theme given mid-2000s and furries. Anyway I ran into problems with a custom shell texture shader, and despite some friends helping it still didn't make it but I at least made some progress!

Just to put my own notes out there, I really enjoyed Ultra. I had some doubts about the theme going in, but I think they did a great job nailing the aesthetic. The lobby world was stunning, and I loved the minigames you could play with friends. The stage world was amazing tech-wise, with good sets.
I do have a minor regret in that I had a Showcase idea that I kinda lost motivation for, thinking it was maybe too much of a buzzkill. In context, I think it might've worked. I may put that together after the fact - it won't have the same reach, but maybe it can still convey the message.
This also was my first year volunteering with Furality (Video Production), and even with expectations set I was still surprised at how many total strangers would come up to me when repping the staff group and ask about my role, or randomly complement the worlds, or ask how they could get involved.

Thanks to those who attended! We had really good turnout (about 36 individuals, with max of 32 at a time).
I figured out how to get the Furality Ultravox Prism servers back up! We can go back!
We can take our time now!
