The next episode in our quest at @utrechtuniversity.bsky.social to answer "what do we know about your antibodies?" Structural promiscuity in the human circulatory IgA1 clonal repertoire | PNAS www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/.... Funded by @erc.europa.eu. Congrats to Amber Rolland
Beautiful ride home today
A nice Polish - Dutch collaboration with the @iimcb.bsky.social. Congratulations to Mayra Borrero, Vanessa Linke and @tkadava.bsky.social. A dynamic gateway: Uncovering the expanded human TOM complex interactome and its regulatory complexity | Science Advances www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
A nature-inspired ion trap for parallel manipulation of ions on a massive scale | Science Advances www.science.org/doi/10.1126/.... Very nice work by Brian Chait and Andrew Krutchinsky from @rockefeller.edu inspired by parallel sequencing in genomics and other technologies. Congratulations

Traveling today to San Diego, to give the closing plenary at the @asms.org #ASMS2026 #MassSpectrometry meeting. I am not aware of a lot of MS fraud, and would have a hard time finding it myself, but hopefully we can learn from each other. This might be my biggest audience ever (7K participants)!
Host cell remodeling via cyclin dependent kinases drives Ebola virus replication and transcription. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... Check out our latest preprint. Great work by @tshamorkina.bsky.social. Thanks to co-authors Danni Snikkers and @hecklab.bsky.social
#ASMS2026 Huge congratulations to Albert @hecklab.bsky.social for winning the ASMS John Fenn award for a Distinguished contribution in Mass spectrometry! well-deserved! A truly inspiring talk👍👏✨
Congratulations to Albert J.R. Heck, recipient of the 2026 #ASMS John B. Fenn Award for Distinguished Contribution! A leader in the field, his work continues to shape the future of #massspectrometry. We’re excited to celebrate his achievements at #ASMS2026 in San Diego.

We did a plasma proteomics study on dengue disease severity in children with Tineke Cantaert and identified early markers of endothelial and inflammatory activation. Great work by @tshamorkina.bsky.social and Sofia! Thanks to all co-authors @hecklab.bsky.social. www.medrxiv.org/content/10.6...
It was great to have you @asms.org #ASMS2026 in San Diego! Your Plenary Lecture was a great way to end our conference. I hope you didn't mind talking about Science Integrity continuously during the USS Midway tour afterwards with our members. Thanks for discussing this important topic in science.
