I took a break from watching the news for a month. Turned it on tonight and I swear it's the same shit. The same "experts" spewing the same bullshit that got us here.
All in for Spain in the World Cup. I know shit about soccer/futbol but Spain has stood up to Trump and for Gaza despite the consequences. Not perfect but I can root for that.
One other thing. I don't know the truth about the tattoo but I can buy his story because I went several times to tattoo parlors with Army buddies and watched them get skull tattoos from off a wall with no discussion about history. So, his story is at least believable based on my own experience.
Yes. If I lived in Maine and it's Platner vs Collins I would vote Platner because there are only 2 options and despite some shitty baggage, I do feel his policies are genuine. Collins will DEFINITELY hurt working and marginalized people. Platner MAY be an asshole. I would gamble with the asshole.
The tick concern is real but the conspiracies are fucking crazy. Humans have lost their minds. Btw, nobody wants to find a tick embedded in their body but I've literally had probably 50 in my life and I'm still here. Not making light of it but don't panic over 1 bite. Just keep an eye on it.
Despite my hatred of FB I'm on it for Marketplace because it took over the market. I have no friends and don't want any on there. But I occasionally scroll and it's sad to see just how fucking crazy people are. Conspiracies galore. Just insane.
I'm 56. I've achieved many goals but I'm still chasing others. I've won awards and seen my name in print. I've made money and lost it. I've traveled widely. But the greatest experience I've known is morning coffee with my wife. I miss that out here on the road. Enjoy that when you can.
