After watching THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD for the first time and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS for the umpteenth time this week, I've decided that the ultimate purpose of the cinematic medium is to depict a bunch of dudes looking at a radar screen.
The satellite is for TCM only and it's worth it for me, but I can only watch so much and society keeps asking me to "work" on a "schedule," which is really cramping my style.
Had to pause the satellite TV subscription because the number of TCM movies I've hoarded on the PVR are starting to haunt me and I need to get to work.
