The excellent Final Fantasy VII Remake series has tons of content packed into it but with Final Fantasy VII Revelation being the final part of the thrilling trilogy, many will be hoping for additional content to arrive at a later date. In a new Famitsu interview, Naoki Hamaguchi, said that he knows fans wanted DLC in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth but the development team wanted to soldier on ahead with Final Fantasy VII: Revelation.

While it was disappointing that the rumoured new Ace Attorney game was not announced during the Nintendo Direct presentation yesterday, SEGA and Capcom leaker Justyouraverageleaker who said a new game is coming has reiterated on X that the game is still coming. He wasn't sure when the project would be announced, but says that the game is deep in development at Capcom. "I believe in it being announced this year. It's been deep in development."

Resident Evil Veronica producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has confirmed that the upcoming survival horror game will be a third person game despite the trailer use of a first person perspective. During the Nintendo Direct presentation Nintendo revealed that there will be a special Splatoon Raiders-themed Splatfest taking place in Splatoon 3. Today the company has announced that there will be new Splashtags to earn along with two new titles. These new Splashtags and titles will be distributed via a Splatoon 3 news article on your Nintendo Switch system prior to the Splatfest which kicks off on 10th July through to 12th July. This special Splatfest asks: What’s your fighting style? Speed, Power or Tactics?

It's becoming a rarity to see third party games physical releases having the full game on the cartridge with many opting for the cheaper Game-Key Card. One of the big games announced yesterday was the souls-like and all round good game, Lies of P. Today it has emerged that the physical release will be a true physical release with the game actually on the cartridge, meaning no Game-Key Card.

Kingdom Hearts 4 made a surprise showing at the Nintendo Direct presentation yesterday but while the game is launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as other platforms, a release date was not announced. However, a new Australian retail listing which details the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Collection says that Kingdom Hearts 4 will arrive in 2027. Here's the blurb:
